This week’s photos are brought to you by the letter B.
On Monday, husband and I took Camilla on her first visit to the beach. Unfortunately, it was a pretty hot day. Heat + bright sun + sand = cranky baby.
We thought that a nice little dip in the water might improve matters.
Obviously, we were mistaken. Oops. I don’t think we’ll try the beach again for a while, unless it’s in the evening.
Baths, on the other hand, are usually good clean fun.
In other news, sitting up gets a little less wobbly every day. Camilla is finally strong enough to spend a few minutes in the Bumbo (she falls over in the end).
I’ve also started including her while I make the bed.
(Special thanks to Rosina Mount for the amazing handknit sweater. I think of it as the Grandpa Cardigan — which is exactly what I wanted — and it looks soooooo cute. Thank you, Rosina!)

I can’t handle how cute she is…I miss here!! When can I come and love that sweet baby?
The bath picture is amazing!
She looks so cute in that sweater!!
So cute, and what a great sweater!
I’m beginning to wonder if Camilla has great-grandma Gibbs hair. Though she has a lot of grey in her hair now, Evie’s is still a light reddish color. It was an absolutely gorgeous auburn for years. I hoped a grandchild would inherit her hair. Maybe Camilla has!
OMG…Camilla, you could start a rush on yarn:)
Wow. That sweater is amazing! I want one!
Thanks for sharing the picture of Camilla in the sweater – it is a joy to see the knitting in action. To be fair… it is the lovely baby that makes the baby sweater cute :)
